About Me
Matthew has a strong background in fitness, rehabilitation, and athletic performance. His career began in the fitness industry, where he developed a passion for helping individuals improve their health, confidence, and quality of life through exercise and lifestyle change. As his experience progressed, his interests expanded beyond general fitness to include injury rehabilitation, clinical practice, and nutrition.
Through experience working across both gym and healthcare settings, Matthew has supported a diverse range of clients, from those pursuing weight loss and strength goals to individuals managing injuries, chronic conditions, and complex rehabilitation needs. His approach integrates structured strength and conditioning, clinical reasoning, and practical nutrition strategies to deliver personalised, result-driven care.
Matthew is passionate about bridging the gap between fitness, rehabilitation, and nutrition. His goal is to help clients not only improve physical function and recover from injury, but also build resilience, optimise performance, and achieve sustainable long-term health outcomes.

Yes. We have experience supporting clients with a wide range of injuries and chronic conditions. Your program will be tailored to your individual needs and capabilities. If more specialised care is required, we can connect you with a trusted healthcare professional within our referral network.
No. Kinetic Lab does not currently provide registered clinical services such as physiotherapy or exercise physiology. However, we work closely with a network of trusted healthcare professionals across Canberra and can help connect you with the most appropriate practitioner if additional clinical support is required.
This depends on your goals and experience level. Most clients achieve excellent results with 1–3 training sessions per week, combined with consistent nutrition and healthy lifestyle habits. We'll help you develop a plan that aligns with your goals, schedule, and individual needs.
